Our Story: Finding Koa
When I decided to bring an Irish Setter into my life, I started looking for breeders. I was set on getting a boy and planned to name him Koa.
What I discovered was that many Irish Setter breeders didn't have websites. I found myself searching through Facebook groups, looking for outdated listings, and trying to piece together information from various sources.
Some breeders had great dogs and solid reputations, but without a website, I had no easy way to learn about their breeding program, see photos of their dogs, understand their health testing protocols, or check if they had upcoming litters.
I eventually found my Koa, and that experience highlighted the value of a good website. A website makes it easier for families to find breeders, learn about their programs, and get in touch. For breeders, it's an effective way to showcase your dogs and connect with potential families.
